ZakiPass is a digital loyalty, coupon, and ticketing platform operated by OverZaki, Inc. ("ZakiPass", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website, mobile app, and wallet passes.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account data — your name, email address, phone number, password, and business details you provide when creating an account.
- Business & program data — loyalty programs, coupons, events, pass designs, and other content you create in ZakiPass.
- Customer data — information about your customers that you or they provide when a pass is issued (such as name, email, phone, and loyalty balances).
- Wallet pass data — the pass identifiers, points, stamps, and status needed to render and update passes in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
- Usage & device data — app and page interactions, device type, operating system, and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected to keep the service reliable and secure.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the ZakiPass platform and your account.
- To create, deliver, and update loyalty cards, coupons, tickets, and wallet passes.
- To send transactional messages and, where you have opted in, push notifications about passes and rewards.
- To secure the service, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
- To analyze usage so we can improve features and performance.
3. Wallet Passes
When you add a pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, we exchange the data required to issue and update that pass with Apple and Google. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies. We only send the fields needed to display and refresh your pass.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf (such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and messaging), with Apple and Google to deliver wallet passes, and when required by law or to protect our rights. Businesses using ZakiPass act as controllers of their own customers’ data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal, tax, or security obligations.
6. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed credentials, access controls, and continuous monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to notify you of material incidents where required.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights in the app or by contacting us at support@zakipass.com.
8. Children’s Privacy
ZakiPass is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where we do, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your information consistent with this policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
